2 c flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
1 pkg yeast
¾ c very warm water
1 Tbsp olive oil
Dissolve yeast in water in a large bowl; let set 5 minutes to proof. Combine flour, salt and sugar in a medium bowl. Add oil to yeast mixture, then add flour mixture. Stir until mixture forms a ball. Turn dough out onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes).
Place dough in a large bowl coated with cooking spray, turning to coat top. Cover dough and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
Punch dough down; cover and let rest 10 minutes. Divide in half; roll each half into a 10-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Top and bake as desired.
Note: This can also be prepared in your bread machine, adding ingredients in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
