Beer Bread

3 c flour
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 (12 oz) can or bottle of beer
1/4 cup butter, melted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and beer. Mix just until blended. Pour into prepared baking pan. Pour melted butter on top of loaf.

Bake 45 to 60 minutes, until bottom of loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
