Fruitcake Cookies

1 lb chopped dates
1/4 lb candied pineapple
1/4 lb candied cherries
1/2 lb chopped walnuts
1 1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c butter
3/4 c sugar
1 egg

Preheat oven to 325.

Cream together butter and sugar; add egg. Stir in dry ingredients. Fold in nuts and fruit. Drop by Tbsp on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325 for 10 minutes.
