Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

3 c powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 ½ tsp vanilla
1 to 2 Tbsp milk

Mix powdered sugar and butter in medium bowl. Stir in vanilla and milk. Beat until smooth and spreadable. Frosts one 13 x 9 inch cake or fills and frosts on 8- or 9-inch two-layer cake.
