Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

¾ c creamy peanut butter
½ c Butter-Flavor Crisco
1 ¼ c packed brown sugar
3 Tbsp milk
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1 ¾ c flour
¾ tsp salt
¾ tsp baking soda

Heat oven to 375.

Combine peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended. Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended.

Shape into 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly in crisscross pattern with tines of a fork. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet before removing to cooling rack.
