Dutch Babies

2 Tbsp butter
2 large eggs
½ c flour
½ c milk
14/ tsp salt

Heat oven to 400. Melt butter in medium skillet, in oven. Remove pan from oven and set aside.

Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl with wire whisk or hand mixer. Beat in remaining ingredients just until mixed (do not overbeat). Pour into hot skillet.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until puffy and deep golden brown. Serve immediately.

This is good sprinkled with fresh lemon juice and powdered sugar; with syrup and butter; with applesauce and cinnamon; or sliced fresh peaches and whipped cream.
