Cheryl's Stuffed Mushrooms

48 medium mushrooms (about 1 to 1 ½ pounds)
1 package Jimmy Dean sausage
1 8-oz package cream cheese
½ c fresh grated parmesan cheese

Remove mushroom stems from mushroom caps.

Brown sausage in a medium skillet; drain fat. Over medium-low heat, add cream cheese and parmesan cheese. Cook and stir until cheese is melted. Fill mushroom caps with sausage mixture.

Set oven to broil. Broil mushrooms with tops 3-4 inches from heat about 3 minutes or until tops are lightly brown. Serve hot.

Note: I put the mushrooms in a mini-muffin pan to broil. This keeps them upright so they broil nicely.
