(Rum Balls)
6 oz semisweet chocolate
½ c sugar
1/3 c rum
3 Tbsp light corn syrup
2 c vanilla wafers, crushed
1 c walnuts, ground
Melt chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, rum and corn syrup. Fold in vanilla wafers and nuts. Refrigerate mixture for about 1 hour. Shape into 1-inch balls using approximately 2 teaspoons of mixture for each. Roll in sugar.
Store in airtight container.
